The competition between the 2nd and 3rd estate caused the French Revolution because of how the 3rd estate wanted one man, one vote which would allow them to basically outvote the combined 1st and 2nd estate. The 2nd Estate caused Political conflict between the Monarchy and the nobility over the "reform" of the tax system had led to bankruptcy.
