Give at least one advantage and one disadvantage of divine right?

One advantage: Quicker decisions, one disadvantage: Leader is not chosen by the people.

Explanation: With a single divine ruler there only needs to be one person making all of the decisions since they hold all of the power. Things get done quicker because there isn't a decision making process like in democracies for example.

Also when you have a single ruler, people may not be happy with the ruler because they didn't choose them. Divine right is the idea that the person was chosen by the gods to rule over the land but not everybody agrees with the same thing which could anger people. If the ruler is a bad ruler this will also make people even more mad. Usually people enjoy choosing the leader because 1. They have a say in government (sort of) and 2. They can be sure they pick a good ruler (most of the time). With a divine ruler, these decisions are made for them
