Why are people still fighting for the right to vote today?

Voting gives very citizen of the country equality. Equality is very important for protecting one's dignity. The law does not force people to vote, but voting is a very important part of any democracy. It makes a citizen have the right to choose their own leader, the person who they think is the best person to take the place as the head/leader of the country. Voting makes us citizens part of the country, by voting we are participating in a democratic process. Hence, this is the reason why people still struggle, and fight for the right to vote.
