Why is legislative branch the most important branch?

1/2, What I would change about elections today is the unfair treatment of the people. The reason America is quoted "best" is because of the freedom, and our right to have our voices heard. However, there is an unnecessary process in voting, which is the electoral college. The electoral college always outvotes popular vote, and that's extremely unfair. It should revolve around the popular vote, and the electoral college should have been marked unnecessary when it was no longer needed.

2/2, The Legislative branch is the most powerful because it has the ability to create laws, and it has the ability to borrow money, collect taxes, and other very important processes for the country remain in order.

some people are just against it im not sure but i think everyone deserves to be treated equally i think people have a problem with it because its different and not like everything else i hope this !
