Literature for any country is very important since stories are what creates culture, when stories are told and written culture goes beyond the lifetime of the author, it is thanks to literature from the past that we know how they lived or thought, if we do not develop literature in the phillipines we coul loose or culture and traditions and we will feel underrepresented in the things and stories we read and hear.
