Describe the visions of amos

Locust- he saw God sending a swarm of locust to destroy everything in land, however, he pleaded to God to forgive his people which He did and withdrew the punishment

fire- he saw a great fire also sent by God that was burning up the dead and extending tot he land, he pleaded to God again and He reversed that punishment

plumbline- he saw God holding a plumb line checking on a crooked line and God swore to punish the Israeli

ripe fruits- he saw a basket of ripe fruits and God told him that the time has come to punish Israel

destruction of the alter/temple - he saw God standing at the altar, which he, the Lord commanded the destruction of the temple; would lead to be total and no one would escape the punish

the buddha identified ways to end suffering and attain minerva, which is the ultimate goal of buddhism. for this purpose, he came up with the concept of the four noble truths, which were crucial to ending suffering. the last of these truths stressed following the eightfold path , which is a series of steps that allow you to live life in a proper manner. these steps would make sure that you would follow the or live life in moderation.
