1. Do you think that Galileo Galilei discoveries changed society way of thinking during those years? Why?

He focused on reason and science, and disproved many theories, such as the statement that planets orbit the Earth as the Catholic church said rather than the Sun (Copernican system). He also contradicted Aristotle's teachings that heavier objects fall faster than lighter ones. He has affected the way people think about science, and added insight into philosophy and ways of thinking. He went against the Catholic Church, which was a big deal at that time.
