What was a development of the inca civilization

One of the developments of the Inca civilization was the construction of a whole network of roads. It was a system of roads that united great distances and important places in the Coast, the Sierra and the Jungle.  This network of roads was called "Qhapaq Ñan" which in Quechua means the Mighty Way or the Great Way and has an extension of 60,000 km.

These roads served to integrate politically and administratively all the Peoples that were being conquered by the Incas.

Other constructions that stood out along the roads were the bridges (allowed to cross the rivers or spaces with chasms) and the tambos (shelters for people and places to store food, wool, firewood, clothing).
