Explanation:

The Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is the supreme legislative body of the United Kingdom and British Overseas Territories. By itself it has parliamentary sovereignty, which gives it sovereign power over all other political bodies in the United Kingdom and its territories. It is headed by the kingdom's monarch (currently Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom).  

The Parliament is composed of two chambers, the upper chamber being called the House or House of Lords, and the lower chamber by the House or House of Commons of the United Kingdom. The Monarch is the third component of parliament.

The two chambers meet at the Palace of Westminster in London. By constitutional act all government ministers, including the Prime Minister, are members of the House of Commons or House of Lords. And so they are also part of the legislative body.
