When rivers overflowed their banks, what would have happened in the Neolithic Era? The first humans would have followed the wild game. It would have gotten too crowded along the river. Vultures would have circled looking for ready food sources. Plants would have naturally grown. Farming communities would have taken advantage of the bounty and established habitations around them. Wild animals would have come to drink. The ground would have dried up quickly.
