So Cornell notes are notes that are based on each section

One of the main parts of Cornell notes, is that each section has a main "question attatched to it"

So let's say that the topic in question was ecology:

You would write

"What is ecology" and all your notes would pertain to the question.

The next heading you come accross, becomes a new question, so if the next heading is

"How does ecology affect how we view the world"

All your notes would be about this question.

Afterwards, you end wtih a summary on what you learned
