Dear Mr Ross.

I am the director of a medical research laboratory in New Guinea. My team and I have devoted our research and resources to finding products that can decrease and control Ebola transmission and infection in West Africa, which consequently improves countless problems facing this region.

I believe that you already know how the transmission of this disease has caused great economic, social and structural wear and tear in the African territory and that although many economic and humanitarian resources have been spent to control this situation, the resources were not efficient, which shows the need for more research and planning, which became more difficult with the arrival of another disease.

In front of that, I would like to communicate that my team has been successful in developing a treatment that has been positive in establishing immunity (against the Ebola virus) in mice. We arrived at this treatment by doing research with DNA from nodulating bacteria and we got promising results, but they need to be tested in humans. We are an independent laboratory and we have few resources to start the second phase of tests and for this reason I write to you, asking for the generous participation of Line Med, in resources for the manufacture of the treatment, as well as help in the dissemination and search for volunteers. I believe that the treatment is promising and could bring many benefits.
