How did the events of the war change Hitler’s strategy?

The most obvious example for this is from the battle of the bulge, where hitler tried to turn the tide agansit the american forces by reapeting the strategy he did against the french 5 years ago. Trying to punch a hole through the enemy lines and use tanks to mop up the infantry. This worked to some degree, with an american force being trapped in a town during the battle.
