Hello my name is Charles de Montesquieu. I was born in La Brède on January 18, 1689. I lived during the age of Enlightenments. I am best known for my thoughts on the separation of powers. I researched views and studies of governments that led me to believe that government corruption was probable if a system of government didn't include balance of powers.
