world war 1 started by franz Ferdinand who was the archduke of Austria was assassinated by a Serbians gang member of the black hand.So the countries were being allied and Britain,and France wanted to support Russia go to war.Germany wanted to support Austria-Hungary.and Russia wanted to help Serbia go to war and they did.
