Explanation:

Countries often trade with each other because each country has a specialty. A real life example would be the United States. Idaho, a state in USA, is famously known for its potatoes, yet many other countries use loads of potatoes every day from french fries to whole buffets incorporating potatoes. In other words, all countries do not own all the luxuries that everybody has, each country has something that another does not have, and to satisfy daily needs and other "wants" many countries trade what they produce for example Saudi Arabia is known for its oil underground. These trades help "share" resources around the world and satisfy needs and wants by residents.

Trade is also a way culture can pass on. In the olden days, the main way for cultures mixing together or becoming into new ones was trade.
