During the Vietnam War, the US became very divided. Television played a
major role in allowing the war to come into the nation's living rooms
which made the people wonder if what the government was saying was
really true about the US winning the war. Protests against the war let to
hate and violence. These factors led to how the American Gls were
treated when they came back home to the US. Hova were they treated?*
