Well they are Domesticated mammals, Not because they are natural wild animals. These dogs were originally Bred from the descendant of wolves, They have been bred by humans for a very, very long time. Not only that but they were also the 1st animal to ever be Domesticated!, They will be sometimes be called, "Canines". Which was from the Latin word, "Dogcanis."
