Write a story about a person, a family living in a New England town in the 1800’s in America. Your story must include how the Industrial Revolution affects the person, family, and town. What kind of factory is the main character working in? What is their job? What are their living conditions? Why did they choose to work in a factory? What do they like about their job? What do they not like about it? You may choose to make your character a child laborer, a mill girl, or even a manager or owner of a mill. You can use your note slides and video notes to create the story. You may also do your own research. The story must be at least 1000 words. If you use Google Docs, there is a word counter built in. You can find it under the "Tools" tab. Your story will be due by Friday. Be sure to share your document with me and mark your assignment as "done".
