The Republicans have a huge financial margin in funding compared to Biden's funding, which only started to pick up after he secured the Democratic nomination. Obama and Michelle Obama are the 2 most famous Democrats in the world, so all the Democratic candidates wanted them to endorse them to give a huge boost to their campaign.
