Why were the british able to stop the german invasion of their country

The British had multiple advantaged over the Germans unlike France, Poland, ETC.  First of all the British has Radar which no one else had at the time so they could see incoming Luftwaffe raids much sooner. they also had the Supermarine Spitfire, which was the only plane on the planet able to contend with the German BF109s (Germany had the most advanced technology in the world). Aslo Britain was on a island unlike everywhere else in Europe so it was able to defend itself much easier. Also during the Battle Of Britain america was sending Britain Planes, Money, and even Pilots.
