WWII impacted women's lives in many ways. One way was that the wartime increased the demands for female workers. Also, more women were allowed to join the military and complete other jobs that men were only allowed to complete in the past. WWII allowed women to be now seen as stronger and capable of doing a man's job. WWII also impacted African Americans. Many African Americans served in the war and FDR issued an Executive Order which prohibited discrimination in the workplace due to race, color, nationality, etc. Many other ethnic minorities served in the war as well, such as Japanese-Americans. All the minorities were given the same amount of payment. In some ways, WWII gave women, African Americans, and other ethnic minorities a boost in the world.
