All the three events mentioned resulted in the acceptance of slavery by new states under the states which emerged as free states.

8.The Compromise of 1850 comprised of five bills which were passed by the United States Congress to address the slavery of states and setting borders of other states(including free states).
9.The five bills were passed and addressed the below mentioned issues.
i.Slavery was allowed to continue in Washington, D.C. but slave trade was discontinued.
ii.The state of California was accepted as a free state.
iii.The borders of Texas state were established.
iv.The Fugitive Slave Act refused the right of trial for slaves while requesting assistance for runaway slaves.
v.The territories of Utah and New Mexico were established.
Conclusion
The above events led to the fact that the states could either be slave state or free state.
The slaves were confined to the slave states while the free states had lessened in number.
While slavery was not eradicated, trade of slaves was banned.
