Hello, I understand that all these farmers were afraid because these states were taxing the people and the citizens couldn't pay it because they hadn't been compensated for their service, but what difference does it make that a CENTRAL government taxes the people instead of the states. We offered to pay off our debts in corn, butchered meat and other farm goods. But the creditors and tax collectors would take only hard cash.
