Explanation: Enlightenment was a certain continuation or extension of scientific revolution. Some of Enlightenment ideas were corrected later on or are still under re-construction. Enlightenment was very idealistic, many of its ideas were exaggerated and not put into reality in a very effective way. So, Enlightenment had also utopistic aspect. Socialism, Communism, progress, rationality are one of them. Later on this period of history (especially exaggerated role atttibuted to human reason) was associated with what is called "disenchantment" or allienation.
