4. Why do you think that Southern Whites resisted reconstruction from the federal government?

The southern whites refused reconstruction because they got their “way of life” taken from them and their whole system was going to be changed

Because they didn’t wanna go back to the union

The principle that george w. bush used to keep white house communications confidential would be executive privilege. but i maybe wrong : )
