During the Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo periods, many things changed and began to pave way for the future. Paintings, statues and works of art became more personalized and stylish according to the whims of different patrons or even for the artists themselves. Many discoveries, enlightenments and inventions were as a result of intellectual and educational shift. The significance in the story of that time will take us all through the three eras separately.

*Renaissance: The Renaissance was both Divine and centered around human where people were beginning to know the worth of humans and their accomplishments. The Renaissance is from the French word "rebirth". Interest in humanism, a philosophy that emphasized the individual and the human capacity for fulfillment through intellectual reasoning, transformed the Renaissance artist from an anonymous craftsman to an individual practicing an intellectual pursuit.

Borque art: The Baroque era soon followed the Renaissance in the 1600s. This transformation came about when the church began to divide between Protestants and Roman Catholics. In this period, there were recreations of famous works in the Renaissance era. Some of the qualities most frequently associated with the Baroque are grandeur, sensuous richness, drama, vitality, movement, tension, variety, emotional exuberance, and apparently to blur distinctions between the various arts.

Rococo: Rococo art is an exceptionally ornamental and theatrical style of architecture, art and decoration which consists asymmetry, scrolling curves, gilding, white and pastel colors, sculpted moulding, and trompe l'oeil frescoes to create surprise and the illusion of motion and drama. It describes the final expression of the Baroque movement. In painting, Rococo was influenced primarily by the Venetian School's use of color, erotic subjects, and Arcadian landscapes. The foundation of Rococo design was School of fountainebleau.
