Why is there so much emphasis on exact definitions in economics?
a)because economists are very picky people.
b)because economics is a science and must be precise.
c)because definitions are what economics is all about.
d)because the government demands it.

nothing certain is known about what happened, but it seems that the country declined gradually, perhaps due to bad government, or, more likely, due to a series of bad harvests, which resulted in widespread and recurrent famine.

i am not 100% positive but i think it is is b. both are non-partisan jobs

i am pretty sure that members of congress have term limits, can be impeached, and are nominated through direct popular vote.
