What are the long-term effects of the invention of the printing press?

Printed books became more readily available because they were easier to produce and cheaper to make.

1.) The process of making books was significantly shortened.

2.) Books became cheaper, allowing more types of people to be able to afford books.

3.) Books in different languages other than Latin  and a different variety of books (romance, poetry, and almanacs) started being published.

4.) Making music became cheaper too as music could now be printed.

5.) More motivation to become literate.

6.) Easier for scholars and scientists to communicate.

7.) Governments could publish and distribute laws.
