The civil Rights movement: the movement cam up after the American Revolution when the Africans (who were the salves) demanded for the equal rights in the country as the Americans had. This movement spread the equality in the American colonies and gives gave the space to the African people in the country.  

The American Revolution: This movement was a fight between the Great Britain and American in which American fought against the British power to have the freedom. America's independence war brought a new twist in the history of European colonialism.  

The Abolition movement: This was an anti-slavery movement which took place against the slavery system in the American colonies. This was helpful in ending the slavery practice  

The women’s right movement: This movement started in 1848, when the women collectively came and demanded for the equal right the men had. They demand equality not on the work place but in the government function too. This movement changed the status and condition of the women in the American society.
