no he can't swim on land he just turned anti gravity for his own use to walk across water. technically they really can't lose their shell they would be naked though because they can live in a large hollowed out log. there isn't a w in one because there is two ways to say one/won and there is a w in two because what are you going to add 3 o's so it's tooo instead of to/too/two. and last but not least boom is used to emphasize that a noise like a loud thump is happening so that is why it is not pronounced boom.
