have you learned about ancient greece and ancient rome? these are two amazing civilizations. these civilizations have a lot of similarities but are also very different in their ways. in this essay, i will be talking about these two great civilizations how they are alike and how they are different.
ancient rome had a republic government. unlike ancient rome ancient greece's government varied over different times. ancient greece went from a democracy to monarchy to an oligarchy and finally to a tyranny. ancient grece's civilization developed by trade where ancient rome grew by conquest.
ancient rome and ancient greece are both located on a peninsula. ancient rome being on an italian peninsula and ancient greece being on a peloponnesian peninsula. with both empires being surrounded by mountains and hills it made it harder for enemies to attack their regions. the economy of ancient rome and ancient greece was based on agriculture.
