Why is it important for the people of hong kong to fight for democracy

Democracy is important as it is the system which enables freedom the most. What they are not doing right is the actual fighting which includes the following

Explanation: -Initial riots

Pulled bricks out of the floor and threw them at police

Issued death threats to the family of police

Beat police with umbrellas

-Legislative building storming

Used a metal trolley to bash the windows of the building

Beat police

Stole sensitive documents

-Yesterday’s riots

5+ Protestors beat 1 police until other protestors started yelling “ you’re gonna kill him

Ganged up on 5 police officers making an arrest

Pinned a police officer and cut OFF his ring finger using scissors (this is what I've heard after the dust cleared from all the chaos)

Beat police again

Went to the top floor of the mall and threw various objects at the police including umbrellas and water bottles (police were on the ground floor)

This is what democracy and free speech encourages, this is anarchy
