Nothing to do with a subject but i need to know a proper way to study because everytime i work hard and study and then the test comes up the questions on the test are so different from what i studied.

you should ask your teacher about what type of questions are on the test, therfore you'd have an idea of what to study! thats what i usually do, and i would write alot of notes, and study them whenever i have the chance. goodluck! : )
