Dale Wasserman authored the Man of La Mancha.

Dale Wasserman was a highly successful playwright from the state of Wisconsin, the United States. His work was greatly influenced by the writings of 16th century Spanish writer Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra. His movie based on his book 'Man of La Mancha' which was inspired by Miguel De Cervantes's book Don Quixote won is looked at as a masterpiece.

Later, his movie is converted into musical play by Albert Marre who later won awards for this play.
