Why was napoleon regarded as the son of the french revolution

Napoleon rise had everything to do with the French revolution based on liberty and equality. Without the 1789 events, France might have retained a restrictive old regime order. This is because of its emphasis on inheritance and other privileges that created mobility of the social order. The cherishing of ideas of honour excluded the commoners from their official positions.

The napoleon revolution would have been prevented, and the severe ambitions curtailed. However, it was devastating that they echoed the surrender of Bastille.
