Explanation: The act allowed each territory to decide on the issue of slavery. Kansas with slavery, allowed the union from falling apart for 34 years.  This allowed the territories a bit of sovereignty ( Independence ).

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)

a main characteristic in these books is that un most of them we find certain "norms" of behavior, as is the case of the bible that has it's commandments. these rules are to regulate the behavior of believers and faithful of their respective faith.

these rules tell us what is right and what is not.
