They did this by doing things such as burning crosses and staging rallies, organized labor, and holding parades and marches that ultimately denounced all "inferior" races such as Catholics, Jews, and mostly Blacks. Along with all of that, they mass-targeted those races and spread fear as well as blatantly and cynically murdering them.
