On the other hand, Modern-day society is liberal and independent due to the development of modern technologies. Which resulted in the decline in the power of the nation-state.

2. Colonial American society grew their crops such as wheat, barley and corn, and raised their own cattle. While modern-day societies are able to get cooked food from supermarkets.

3. The Colonial societies made education available only for boys, the modern-day societies made it available for both the genders.
