In order to stop this violence, the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, signed a treaty in order that the Israelis would not attack the Palestinians and withdraw the military of the West Bank, and the Palestinians to stop attacking Israelis and creating violent protests.
