The colonists didn't think this was fair so they wrote the declaration and when king George refused to read it the colonists sent the British red coats running back home due to King George thinking they were a fake. The British wrote Yankee Doodle to tease the colonists but the colonists attached the British on Christmas knowing they would not expect it.
