Which mountain region leads the nation in producing young chickens

The leading region in broiler chickens is the state of Georgia. The Apalache Mountains have lots of exposed hard rock formations, complete with shallow river basins. These conditions are ideal for Poultry Farming, once the red soil contains high concentrations of minerals brought down by the water. The city of Gainesville in Georgia is considered  "Poultry Capital of the World".
