his concept was one of the major critcism of absolute monarchy which developed in 16th and 17th c.

according to him, in every country functioning legislature (recommended that held bicameral parliament), executive ( the monarch) and the judiciary (exercised by independent courts). montesquieu argued that parliament should have the exclusive right to legislate.  upper house, composed of representatives of the aristocracy, would provide radical reduction of the activities of the lower chamber, composed of representatives of the general society.monarch had  the right to convene and deferral of the parliamentary session and reporting veto. he also had to appoint ministers responsible to parliament for the tasks of the executive, made in the form countersigned decision monarch. according to montesquieu judges, subordinate only to the law, they should be elected for a fixed term. they should also from the sam social estate which  accused is. execution of court judgments montesquieu scored the tasks of executive power.
