In Greece, the alarm clock could be used in many ways. It can alert you when a hour goes by or when it is time to eat. Since they didn't have the technology we have, the alarm clock was maybe the most advanced invention at the time.  

   Classical Greece influenced the alarm clock in many ways. Without a alarm clock, you may wake up late for school and miss the bus. Alarm clocks play a huge role in a adults life. Adults work maybe 5 days per week and they have to wake up very early to get ready. They can't even be late or their boss will get mad.

The Alarm Clock was invented in the time of Ancient Greece. The idea of a alarm clock came from a engineer called Ctesibus. Time was tracked by a water clock. Ctesibus made a system of dropping peddles on a gong to make a sound which is the first alarm clock.
