Francis Bacon was an English philosopher and scientist. He is known as the creator of Empiricism. A theory that states that knowledge comes from the trial of a proposed hypothesis. In other words, proving what is stated by putting a proposal into practice and either proving it or neglecting it.

Rene Descartes was a French mathematician and scientist. He is known as the father of the Cartesian Coordinate System. A system that specifies the location of a point in a plane by giving it a set of coordinates (axis X and Y). This method is widely used nowadays.
