What impact did the french revolution have on events in mexico that led to the mexican war for independence

The independence Mexican war was inspired by the American and French revolutions. It happened because the Mexican elite began to observe and reflect on the relations between Spain and it’s colonies. The Bourbon reforms - limited the powers of Creoles and re-established the supremacy over the colonies - and the economic crisis Spain was going through made the Creole elite go rebellious.
