What geographic condition discouraged developments of agriculture in new england

Farming was hard because of the rocky soil, the long and very harsh winters and the very short growing season. The soil wasn't good for growing crops, especially near the ocean. The farmers would move the rocks out of the way before planting.

Also, the early and long lasing winters killed many crops quickly. Due to this hardship the farmers in New England colonies only farmed enough for their family, themselves and their animals.

the intolerable acts were punitive laws passed by the british parliament in 1774 after the boston tea party. in great britain, these laws were referred to as the coercive acts.

1 problem today is that it caused to much crime americans are born with freedom and liberty and not being restricted to things causing lots of crimes because there free until proven guilty and commit a crime
