Asap! "this nation (speaking about the u. s.) was founded on what people believe, not on who they are." how true is this idea today?

I believe that there are unfair stereotypes in this country. But what makes this statement true is the people in this country fighting for what they truly believe is right. That is what makes it America. Citizens fighting for a better tomorrow and making the world better for their future children. All we need to do is use the ideas everyone has and find a way to make everyone an equal spot in this country. That is what America is based on, equality and a big idea. With that comes our liberty and our ability to pursue happiness.
