Another major contribution of classical Roman Civilization was the government. Their government was influential to other countries around the world because their government was strong and successful. Roman senators represented large groups of people and they ran Rome. Alongside the senators, there were Emperors who “ruled” Rome, but they did not do it alone or with absolute power.
