The aspects of Buddhism influence pop culture today because a lot of ideas from it are being used to help people. For example, meditation is used to help certain people with Anxiety or stress, Zen teas, Zen candles, and many other things are being sold in shops, yoga classes are being taught and attended to around the world, and mindfulness retreats are being visited globally. Many famous people are Buddhists, for example, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and Tiger woods are Buddhists. Many movies were made about Buddhism as well including “The Life of Buddha”, and more.   There are many other ways Buddhism has influenced pop culture. For example, karma is used in pop culture by either people believing in it, or TV shows showing a self-reference to it. Sometimes, an episode of a show will have the entire theme be about one’s karma. More of the aspects of Buddhism used in pop culture include reflection- tranquility and peacefulness.
